Globetrotters

Travelling has always been part of being human. We all have a tendency to want to change our surroundings and to get to know new places. However, some of us are more adventurous than others. These kinds of daring people are known as Globetrotters: they travel to different places, and experience new cultures and different ways of thinking and acting. In ancient times they travelled on foot, but nowadays we have more possibilities to get to know other worlds: in a short time we have invented various means of transport, like ships, cars, and aeroplanes.

This theme invites children to enjoy adventures all over the world, using these components of transport. In this way they can imagine themselves as true globetrotters, while learning the lessons of a nomadic life.
